Who is Ouareau for?

For campers who are looking to contribute to a multilingual positive community.

Summer camp is more than just great activities, wonderful food and magic moments (but those things sure do help!). It’s also about campers experiencing a safe environnement that allows them to not only feel supported, but learn how to support each other within their home away from home. We are an all-girls camp that aims to create a safe space for gender minorities.

Create a positive community

At Ouareau, we help campers feel comfortable to make new friends, try new activities and go home feeling more confident! Our goal is to create a positive community for girls and gender minorities so that campers not only feel like they can be themselves, but also thrive as themselves.

Teach french skills that stick

90% of the battle to learning a new language is motivation. At Ouareau we have cracked the code, making language the center of every day camp life. With the combination of our multilingual community as well as our two days in english, two days in french rotation program, campers helping each other understand the day-to-day becomes intuitive.

Partner with our families

Giving you peace of mind is an important part of a successful camp experience. We know that trust must be earned – that is why we like to work with our parents before, during, and after camp.
